Scope:
To perform daily tasks of the Delivery and Installation department safely and effectively.
*Pre-employment drug screen and physical required
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for brand safety.Inspect vehicles prior to leaving the terminal. Overall vehicle safety inspections completed monthlyMake sure all scheduled maintenance is completed in a timely fashion.Clean vans every two weeks and ensure supplies and tools are stocked.Assist in unloading and preparing plants from our Florida trucks.Load and unload plant material and containers safely and without damage.Clock in and out of jobs correctly for proper tracking.Regular driving of a delivery type box truck in city settings spending up to 50% of your shift driving at times.Deliver all plant material and containers to customer locations as scheduled to ensure efficiency.Deliver plant material to customer sites with minimal disruption to the client's business environment.Ensure installation is completed consistent with a professional work environment.Assure that all areas on customer sites are left clean and as you found them.Install all plant material and containers pursuant to Planstscape's standards.Apply feedback on production tickets to address issues or solutions.Greet all customers upon arrival at accounts in a friendly and positive manner.Upon completion of installations accurately complete service report and have customers sign production tickets to confirm approval.Report any customer issues immediately to the Greenhouse Manager or the Interior Division Manager.Assist in performing special services as needed.In down time perform housekeeping and assist other departments.Requirements
Position Requirements
Pass Plantscape 101Excellent customer service skills; ability to identify and resolve customer concerns, a 'can-do' attitude and effective communication skills.Ability to read and follow directions from a production ticket, floor plan or picture.Must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and be team orientated.A clean driving record and a willingness and availability to travel as needed.Ability to work flexible hours.Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, organizational skills.Acquire forklift certification.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent driving and frequently moves about the greenhouse, maneuvers in small spaces, and reaches above head and to ground level. This position occasionally ascends and descends ladders. This position requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds, including above the head. This position may push a cart up to 100 pounds.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily conducted in a warehouse environment where climate is controlled however temperatures and humidity may vary. ?
