What you will be doing:
The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving and pulling material at the request of a picklist, production request and direction for the Material Handling Supervisor.
Responsibilities:Safely operate a forklift, (stand-up, sit-down, turret lift or pallet rider) in a fast-paced, high traffic environmentPrioritizing material pulling in accordance with picklist, supervisor direction, and production demandUtilize Hand-Held Scanner to issue material to shop ordersUtilize Hand-Held scanner to locate required material as requested by Internal CustomersCycle count provided locations weekly and assist with inventory control.Maintaining 5-S policies and proceduresOther responsibilities as neededREQUIREMENTS
Must wear PPE, safety gloves, glasses, steel-toe boots.Excellent written and verbal communication skills2+ years operation of forklift2+ years experience in manufacturing environmentBasic math and recording abilitiesExcellent attention to detailProficient in typing and transcriptionWhat you need:
Must be able to stand for 4-6 hoursMust be able to lift 50 lbsMust be able to use a pallet jackAdjusting or moving objects in all directionsWhat's in it for you?
