Terminal Operator, Full-Time Job, Guaranteed 40 hours a week with opportunities for overtime and weekly pay.
Kosmos Cement is hiring a Terminal Operator for the Production Department as a Full-Time job in Pittsburgh, PA.
This position is looking to offer between
$21-25 an hour , depending on experience.
The Terminal Operator is an entry level position. In this role, you will work with a small team to operate a cement terminal. You will receive instructions from the Terminal Manager and must be ready to perform all required job tasks according to OSHA safety standards and Company policies.
As a Terminal Operator, most of the time you will work outside, either on land or on river barges. A small portion of your job duties will include inside work. Basic computer skills are required. Kosmos Cement is a large cement manufacturing company that spans nationwide with opportunities for growth and expansion.
Terminal Operator Roles and Responsibilities:
Load customer trucks with cement using the computer system and process paperwork, as neededUnload cement from barges using machinery (crane, skid steer, etc.)Perform all job tasks safely and report any unsafe incidentsMaintain general housekeeping at jobsite, as directedUse hand tools to perform preventative maintenance on equipment, as directedWear required PPE at all timesRequired Skills & Qualifications:
Applicants must be safety-minded, and enjoy working outdoors. A background in mechanical maintenance and/or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
High School Diploma or GEDBasic reading, writing, math skillsBasic computer skillsTeam-based mindsetGood communication skillsExperience with any of the following is a plus:
Mechanical troubleshootingHeavy equipment operation (crane, skid steer, forklift, etc.)
