This position is a W2 position and not eligible for C2C.Job SummaryWe are seeking a mid-level DevOps position responsible for performing system analysis and issue verification. Assists in the specification, coding, testing, beta, release, and production support for assigned Henry Schein One products. Monitors production systems before, during and after releases to ensure performance stability and reliability. Maintains communication channels between operations and development to facilitate cooperation between teams. Functions as a key member of the Development team for the assigned business unit and provides needed development support. You will be very focused on an "Automate Everything" mindset.What You'll DoParticipate as part of a software development team in a collaborative mannerCreate, modify, and maintain documentation on infrastructure, software, systems, and disaster recovery processesAssists in the development and deployment of solutions that follow established standardsDevelop and implement scripts and automation tools to build security, reliability, and scalability into the CI/CD pipelineTroubleshoot build and deployment issuesWork with Dev teams to apply DevOps best practices to modernize applications to become cloud-nativeSupport all levels of on-premise (VMWare) and cloud (AWS) environmentsCreate and maintain Helm templatesCluster orchestration through KubernetesImplement Logging Monitoring and Alerting (LMA) and respond to cluster/instance health and security alerts/toolsWork with QE Automation, Development, and the InfoSec to integrate testing tools into pipelines

QualificationsMust haveBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent working experience2+ years of DevOps experienceAWS /Cloud experienceContainer orchestration experience, preferably KubernetesInfrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation)Advanced use of HELM, YAML, Bash, Python and/or PowerShell scriptingUnderstanding of on-prem (VMWare) and cloud (AWS) environmentsExperience creating CI/CD pipelines to support Java, C#, .NET, JavaScriptBasic understanding of writing SQL scriptsImplementing and supporting DevOps pipelines with a CI/CD tool focus on GitLab, TeamCityContainerizing applications using Docker and Kubernetes (HELM) for container orchestrationExperience with AWS including EC2, ECR, Load balancing, S3, VPC, etc.Using Git (GitLab) for code/repository management and CI-CD pipelinesParameterizing and automating environment configuration settingsExperience working with a security team to 'shift left' and follow DevSecOps practicesExperience managing services in a VMware environment with aim to migrate to cloud computingUnderstanding of a range of software architectural patterns, networking protocols, and software database technologies can help influence and advise on the best options to employUnderstanding of administration of production infrastructure and systems including storage, virtualization technologies, and load balancingUnderstanding of Agile development methodologyAbility to troubleshoot and help resolve escalated infrastructure issuesUnderstanding of Windows and Linux Server implementationsUnderstanding of applications that run inside a web application infrastructureExcellent analysis and problem-solving skillsExcellent writing and communication skills

The posted range for this position is

$69,552 - $121,716

which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a

7.5% bonus
