Job Duties and Responsibilities:• The JIRA Architect will be responsible for understanding the current process, identifying gaps, gathering requirements to develop and deliver customized applications/projects to meet the organizational demands• Develop and maintain workflows in Atlassian JIRA and other Atlassian products including tool administration and customization• Install and configure plugins and deploy to extend JIRA capabilities, make dashboards for JIRA Connect add-ons, configure custom fields, support JIRA configurations• Design custom JIRA workflow for different issue types to assist in provisioning, build & deploy servers, and applications as well as other continuous integration workflows• Develop creating JIRA templates, complex JIRA workflows including project workflows, screen schemes, permission scheme and notification schemes in JIRA• Responsible for maintenance, administration, upgrade, and enhancements to JIRA, Confluence and integrations with other tools or plugins• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across organization, gather requirements to develop, and deliver custom templates, workflows (automation) using Atlassian products (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence etc.)• Developing components (add-ons/APIs/plug-ins) or customizations for the Atlassian JIRA platform/Atlassian SDK
Qualifications:• years of experience in JIRA development, designing, integration• Experience using Java and web-based architectures and technologies (REST, XML, JSON)• Solid software development experience and talent• Working knowledge of Java application servers• Experience with distributed, multi-tier, mixed technologies, software architectures• Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional teams of developers, analysts, and operations stakeholders
