Tesla's Digital Product Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for building information systems to support Tesla's rapid growth while providing a seamless and intuitive customer experience. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests to identify defects and improve overall quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop test cases, and implement test strategies to improve overall quality and test code coverage.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using modern test automation tools such as Selenium and PythonDesign, maintain and execute automated tests, -including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testingCollaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to understand requirements and translate them into test casesApply strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and test automation frameworks to define, implement, and maintain test plans, test specifications, and test suitesIdentify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.Develop and maintain test data and test environmentsParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and qualityStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assuranceRequirements

Degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Python, and RESTful APIs.Experience with object-oriented programming languages and design patterns.Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test automation frameworks.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience working in an Agile development environment.Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHubCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$96,000 - $282,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
