Caring. Connecting. Growing together.As a Licensed Social Worker, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. You will provide patients with behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs.Primary Responsibilities:Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication managementParticipate in enriching the training experience of our graduate studentsScreen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disordersProvide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methodsSystematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complicationsForm excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinate care with external providersOpportunities to represent the practice in community presentations and lecturesMaintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of professional social work / clinical experience post Master's degreeExperience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and familiesExperience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EMRs)Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness
