On behalf of one of our Healthcare clients: Procom Services is looking for a Workday Conversion Lead for a 6 month plus remote contract with extensions likely and possible conversion to permRemote work is allowed. The Workday Data Conversion Lead will be responsible for the overall data conversion strategy and execution of the data conversion effort. The role will be responsible for data conversion effort for a full platform phase one (1) Workday implementation for an academic medical center and research institution. The role will own the process and procedures necessary to convert legacy data to the Workday object model in the areas of Learning, HCM and Payroll, Finance, Supply Chain and other related systems. The role will be to lead a team of data conversion programming specialists.
This role involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business and technical disciplines to develop and execute a comprehensive data conversion strategy. This role will work directly with a Workday partner to ensure the successful delivery of the Workday suite of applications.
Workday Conversion Lead Job Responsibilities• Develop a data conversion strategy for program and execute leading practices for converting legacy data to the Workday object model.• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of mapping values, transformation rules, from the legacy system to Workday's object in the system integrator (Workday partner) format.• Develop an automated script for the extract, transform, and load process that streamlines up to four (4) tenant builds.• Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.• Resolve data quality issues between loads to help ensure a consistently improving data conversion process• Create and maintain detailed documentation of data conversion processes, mapping specifications, and test results.• Provide regular status reports to project stakeholders and leadership.• Provide data gathering workbooks to the SI data conversion team via agreed secure transfer method• Develop and execute the catch-up transaction process for payroll parallel and go live tenant builds• Responsible for ensuring the security of personal identification and other sensitive information for security policy and procedures.• Assists with data validation report mapping. Program and Automation and conversion scripts
Workday Conversion lead Job Qualifications:• 2 - 5 years of Workday experience in data conversion preferably for an academic medical center, healthcare provider or higher education• Expertise in Lawson data and Workday data structures• Expert programming skills in a common scripting programming language and/or ETL tool.• Demonstrable successful Workday ERP implementation project and optimization experience as a data conversion lead.• Experience with Workday implementation and data conversion methodologies• Experience with data conversion automation tools and frameworks.• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to communicate and manage in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT teams.
