We have partnered with a global industrial electrical manufacturing company in Highland, IL area to provide them with a Senior Firmware Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized must haves for the Senior Firmware Engineer:
#1 Must have experience with C and C++ programming language and development with embedded Linux
#2. Must have a bachelor's degree in, computer engineering, or electric engineering with embedded firmware experience
#3. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements
of the
Senior Firmware Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with 6 years of preferred experience in firmware design.Proficiency with software version control systems such as SVN or Git.Experience with the Linux operating system, networking, and multithreaded execution environments.Knowledge of C/C++ programming and object-oriented design principles.Familiarity with communication hardware like Ethernet, USB, I2C, and SPI.Experience with electrical test instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.Background in working with embedded microcontroller systems.Basic understanding of XML and JSON schema.Experience integrating third-party code.Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Capability to explain and discuss technical information with customers and colleagues at various levels.Willingness to travel as needed for training, project support, product-related issues, or other job-related tasks.Other Key Requirements:
