a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama, is seeking applicants for a Data Analyst position to support our Army customer at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX.
Job Responsibilities include:
The Data Analyst will develop and apply data analysis methods, algorithms, statistics, and research techniques in the recommendations of data driven solutions to reduce cybersecurity risk, provide insights, and present information in various structures and unstructured forms. The Data Analyst will also perform analysis of data systems, such as Big Data systems and perform statistical analysis and provide input for reports and dashboards. Additional duties will include assisting with the development of data products, reports, and presentation material for use by leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years of data analysis related experience
Strong MS Excel experience
MS PowerPoint experience
Experience doing research in databases/systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in military databases
Advanced business system analysis and planning experience
Required Education:
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
