Job Description:

The Outpatient Therapist will conduct individual, group, and family therapy, as clinically appropriate, with outpatient clients.

Schedule Details:

Full-Time and Part-Time Availability (Flexible Scheduling)

Location:

Kennett Square, PA

Program:

Drug & Alcohol Outpatient Treatment

Pay Rate:

$30+/hour Billable Rate; $15 Non-Billable Rate

Job Functions:

Conduct formal clinical assessments of clients upon admissionDevelop and oversee the implementation of treatment plansProvide crisis assessment and stabilization services, as clinically necessaryPerform substance abuse treatment as defined by the program descriptionConduct individual, family, or group therapy, as clinically indicated, including maintaining a clinically appropriate balance between treatment modalitiesParticipate in all required individual and peer supervision and all applicable program staff meetingsComplete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summariesProvide quality services based on established best practice principles of careMaintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representativesEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with other local providers, client advocacy groups, and client support systemsParticipate in agency committees to develop and implement program/service enhancementMaintain professional licensure and/or certification in the designated state(s) of serviceMinimum Requirements:

Education:

Master’s degree in a clinical discipline for mental health therapists. All degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.

Experience:

Two years of experience working with clients with addictions for substance abuse therapists. Must have documented clinical experience working in the field of substance abuse treatment.

Licensure/Certifications

:

Licensed or certification Preferred (LPC, LCSW, PsyD). Co-occurring professional certification is strongly encouraged.

Clearances:

Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Clearance, and Fingerprint federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Note:

At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
