Job Title: Data EngineerLocation: North Reading, MA 01864Duration: 6 MonthsJob Type: ContractWork Type: OnsitePay rate- $60-60.00/hrTypical Day in the Role:Typical TasksAs a Data Engineer you will contribute to the development of a data lake and data services.You will be developing and supporting the analytic technologies that give our customers timely, flexible and structured access to their data.You will be responsible for designing and implementing a platform using third-party and in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata.You will work with business customers in understanding the business requirements and implementing solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.Compelling Story & Candidate Value Proposition:Candidate Requirements:Qualifications3+ years of data engineering experience2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experienceKnowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computingExperience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelinesExperience working on and delivering end to end projects independentlyExperience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, RubyExperience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.Preferred qualificationsExperience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissionsExperience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)Years of Exp3+DegreesBA comp sci/ stats/Leadership PrinciplesDeliver resultsOwnershipsBias reactionTop 3 must-have hard skills:PythonAWS developmentSQL
