Residential programs run 24/7 and Individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, Medication support services, and crisis intervention.

HealthRIGHT 360's residential substance use disorder program is a program contracted with Department of Public Health's (DPH) Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC) program for residential drug Medi-Cal (DMC) services for up to 99 adult ment and women. The program works closely with the other programs at the Behavioral Health Center for low income/Medi-Cal population. The program is located on the campus of Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital in the Willowbrook area of South Los Angeles and serves LA County residents.

The Therapist I/II/III is a registered professional who maintains a current registration with the BBS or CBP.

Requirement: Minimum of one year experience as a BBS registered Clinician

The Therapist I/II/III is responsible for clinical assessment('s), diagnoses, treatment plan('s), intervention('s), crisis intervention('s), and discharge planning. The Therapist I/II/III works in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure best possible treatment outcome for the client and provide treatment in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360's philosophy, goals, policies, mission and vision. The Therapist I/II/III may provide treatment utilizing different modalities including individual, group and family therapy. Services may be provided in: outpatient office, residential treatment, or the field, based on client and program need. The Therapist I/II/III participates in the on-call rotation and may be required to respond after hours. As per the contract, all staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have the most recent booster; medical and religious exemptions are available.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Service:

Provides thorough clinical assessment('s) and diagnoses.Works with the client to develop the client centered treatment plan('s).Monitors treatment progress and updates the treatment plan as needed.Addresses mental health and/or substance abuse symptoms using individual, group, and/or family treatment.Provides thoughtful discharge planning to ensure the client safely transitions.Provides crisis assessment and intervention as needed.Seeks clinical consultation throughout the treatment episode and when encountering new and/or high risk clinical circumstance.Works collaboratively with other members of the treatment team including the Case Manager, Counselor, Medical, and Psychiatrist.Maintains frequent communication with the treatment team and engages in regular consults, clinical team, case conferences, and plan development meetings.Delivers services in outpatient, residential, or field depending on assignments and client need.Assists with crisis assessment, crisis intervention, and symptom management within assigned programs by providing 24-hour 7 day per week after-hours coverage on rotation with other Clinical Therapists.Meets expected client care hours (productivity expectation is 25 client care hours per week).Clinical Documentation:

Write and complete all progress notes within 72 hours of service delivery.Maintains compliance with due dates for all clinical documentation including: assessment, treatment plan, treatment plan updates, re-assessments, discharges, outcome measures, and other clinical documentsWrites client progress letters and court reports and obtains final approval from the supervisor.Documentation must maintain in compliance with agency policy and procedures, HIPAA, 42-CFR, DMH, and SAPC standards.Completes all assigned URC's within a timely matter.Training, Supervision and Quality Improvement:

Maintains full compliance with BBS or CPB regulations.Attends and actively participates in Clinical Group Supervision.Actively participates in agency and team meetings.Participates in training opportunities and pursues certifications in Evidence Based Practices.Communicates collaboratively with all members of the behavioral health team including: medical, mental health, psychiatry, substance use disorder, and other staff.Completes all assigned trainings and Relias trainings in a timely manner.Professionalism and Other Duties:

Arrange work schedule in accordance with the agency's needs.Attend regular staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.Reads emails daily and responds when appropriate.And, other duties as assigned

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education Requirements

MSW, MFT, LPCC, or PsyD from a regionally accredited graduate school and registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or the California Board of Psychology (CBP) and in good standing with the Board.Experience

Minimum of one year experience as a BBS registered ClinicianPreferably two years' experience providing DMH or SAPC services as a therapistPreferable experience treating clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disordersKnowledge of and experience with providing trauma informed servicesStrong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPointBackground Clearance Required:

Live scan fingerprint clearanceMust not be on parole or probation for a minimum of two yearsOther Requirements
