Registered Dietician or Licensed Dietician Required and Certified Diabetes Educator requiredEducation:

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area requiredCertification:

BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required and ongoing maintenance of Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)Experience:

2 to 3 years' previous experience preferredWhat you will do:

Education of patients with Type 1, Type 2, and Gestational Diabetes MellitusAppropriate assessment and evaluations on patient conditions, follow-up needs, and coordination of health careIndividual and group sessions for Medicare, Newly and previously diagnosed diabetes mellitus, Change in treatment planInstructions on insulin pumps, pattern management, and continuous read out sensorsNutritional prescriptions, sick day management and home glucose monitoring also included for both individuals and in classes
