DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop clean, efficient, and scalable Software to meet project requirements. Follow best practices, and design patterns for consistent development. Develop, document, and maintain unit and functional test cases. Create automation scripts for test automation. Responsible for test artifacts, including datasets and data validation. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Collaborate with the team to improve code quality and consistency. Maintain version control and repository management for codebase integrity. Identify areas for improvement and implement optimizations. Collaborate with the team to ensure the code is clean and maintainable. Document code and technical designs to ensure maintainability. Keep comprehensive records of project documentation. Identify automation opportunities and develop robust automation frameworks. Implement the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern. Create automation scripts for both Android and iOS payment products using native automation (XCUITEST and UIAutomator). Implement behavior-driven development (BDD) tests. Integrate the automation framework for streamlined reporting and continuous integration. Provide input during product design reviews for functional requirements, designs, schedules, and issue resolution. Create efficient shell scripts and batch files for command-line execution of the automation suite. Conduct root cause analysis to improve the test scope and approach. Adapt to agile and iterative development methodologies to meet project goals efficiently. Utilize effective project management and issue tracking tools to streamline development and testing. Enhance software performance through optimization and efficient algorithms. Trigger build jobs using CI-CD pipeline to promote code to higher environments to validate build stability. Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software. Maintain version control and repository management for codebase integrity. Continuously improving development processes and exploring innovative solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, I.T. Test Lead, I.T. Project Associate, or related occupation.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
