As a
Bilingual Therapist , you will coordinate and plan services for children referred through social services, probation, or mental health departments who are transitioning from institutional settings to family or family-like environments. Services will be delivered primarily in community settings, such as families' homes, group homes, foster homes, and schools. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all parties work collaboratively to achieve stability for the child and family. Wraparound Clinicians build meaningful and authentic relationships with clients while fostering a safe, predictable, and positive environment that aligns with their values and cultures.
ABOUT WRAPAROUND
Seneca offers Wraparound services to children and youth at risk of out of home placements like residential treatment facilities or juvenile hall and youth who are re-entering the community from these placements. The Wraparound program maintains fidelity to the National Wraparound Initiative model and is strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the youth and family develop the skills and supports needed to thrive at home and in the community. A Child and Family Team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the at-risk child, and consists of family members, Seneca's Wraparound Facilitator, Youth counselor, Parent Partner, Connections Specialist, Therapist, and other community members who have an important role in the family.

Responsibilities
Promptly meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to further treatment goals utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams for the purpose of care planning and support
Collaborate with agency staff, caregivers, other professionals and interested parties to formulate and implement individual client care plans, behavioral programs, and interventions
Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers, as needed
Complete assessment and evaluation process of clients in order to develop and implement the care plan
Provide assistance in case planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, as well as casework issues, as appropriate
Chart mental health notes, care plans, outcome measures, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain availability for crisis intervention services, such as on-call rotation, if applicable
Comply with all child abuse reporting and Medicaid/Medi-Cal requirements in accordance with standards set by Seneca
Commit to and engage in self-evaluation as well as organizational goals, strategies, and systemic practices regarding diversity, equity and inclusion
Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's EQ-4 model training. This may include intervening with the clients' behavioral program through physical management of the clients, if applicable. Training in additional crisis intervention modalities such as CPI may be required
QualificationsREQUIRED:
Master's degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed
Bilingual Spanish skill set required
Flexible schedule with ability to work some evenings and weekends
Be part of a rotating emergency pager system, scheduled ahead of time
Must be at least 21 years of age
Own vehicle, Valid California driver's license and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
Must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination
PREFERRED:
Experience working with youth in out-of-home care
Strong organizational and writing skills

Flexible schedule with ability to work some evening and weekend

Starting at
$77,000 - $79,000
per year
Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role
Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure
