Unified Communications Engineer

The Opportunity:As a Unified Communications(UC)engineer on our team, you'll support our global voice and video infrastructure. On our team, you'll provide UC design, engineering, and technical support for Booz Allen staff globally. You'll be offered the opportunity to utilize significant experience in the UC and Information Technology(IT)fields, including VoIP, Teleconferencing, VTC, and collaboration technology engineering support. You'll collaborate with other Booz Allen staff organizations to provide engineering support for internal systems as well as projects for UC technologies. You'll work directly with the UC team and other IT engineers to analyze and resolve site and customer UC issues. You'll be provided training opportunities to learn new skills, maintain a high level of industry knowledge, and should be able to pass that training on to others.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S.citizenship is required.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:5+ years of experience supporting UC communications solutions, including video, voice, meetings, and the supporting infrastructure

5+ years of experience with videoconferencing and SIP-based video communications

5+ years of experience with video codecs, VTC management systems, and the associated AV components

3+ years of experience working with an enterprise ticketing system

Knowledge of networking fundamentals in support of real-time media delivery

Ability to analyze technical data quickly and communicate with others to resolve issues

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:Experience with Microsoft Teams voice, video and or meetings

Experience with streaming video and content distribution

Knowledge of PowerShell programming

Possession of excellent customer service skills

Microsoft or Cisco UC related certifications

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
