A rapidly growing IPP that has coverage across the US for utility-scale solar, storage and wind projects. With a substantial pipeline of projects in both early and delivery phases, our client is looking to grow their development team with talented professionals.

Job Description

The Project Developer (Renewables) will be responsible for:

Effectively work with the existing Development team on Utility-scale projectAcquire real estate rights for development opportunitiesMaintain relationships with landowners and other local stakeholdersDirect resource management processes and output estimatesManage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaignsManage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement effortsManage occasional permitting activities with support from other team membersPrepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responsesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

The Project Developer (Renewables) will have

Minimum of three (3) years' experience in renewable energy industryDirect experience in utility scale solar or wind projectsExperience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictionsBachelor's degree is requiredPlease still apply if you have smaller scale projects but could still see yourself contributing

What's on Offer

The Project Developer (Renewable) will be eligible for

$120,000 - $140,000 base salary
