SWE-2 Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Position Description
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining data pipelines that enable machine-learning model training as well as large scale inferencing in a Kubernetes environment.
Position Required SkillsExperience using the Linux CLI and Linux toolsExperience developing with PythonExperience with developing high availability APIs and microservicesExperience with container technologies such as Docker and containerdExperience with container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesExperience creating Helm Charts for KubernetesExperience developing and deploying containerized applications for KubernetesExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLabExperience with Git Source Control SystemPosition Desired Skills
Experience developing with GoExperience with distributed processing solutions for building and maintaining data pipelines such as SparkExperience working with and debugging GPU-enabled applicationsExperience with metrics and monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch and KibanaExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools including Jira and ConfluenceUnderstanding of NLP Concepts including tokenization, embeddings and transformersFamiliar with LLMs (Large Language Models) such as GPT-4, Mistrel and LlamaFamiliar with Vector databases including Quadrant
