JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the overall health of IT systems including switches, routers, and firewallsResponsible for all cybersecurity configurations, monitoring, and reportingResponsible for the design, configuration, and operation of all IT network infrastructure to include servers, storage, virtualization, and securityResearches problems or errors within the IT network infrastructure and recommends proper course of action for recovery or repairResponsible for the integrity of all server backup and restoration operationsDevelops and implements standards for workstation operating system installations to ensure system capability and security controls are in placeResponsible for maintaining network/system monitoring softwarePerforms systems diagnostics on a routine basis to identify potential deficiencies within the IT SystemsProposes and implements capital projects to improve the IT operation.Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.Performs all other duties as assigned.Promotes outstanding customer relations.Responsible for training and assisting all other Systems personnel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum seven (7) years in IT and Computer IndustryExperience managing Microsoft Windows Systems, UNIX, Linux, and midrange operating environmentsStrong experience with Cisco WAN and LAN equipment and softwareStrong experience with security software (Cisco Endpoint Security, Cisco Umbrella, Veronis, etc.)Experience with Antivirus software (Trend Micro)Experience with VPN technologies (Cisco AnyConnect)Experience with storage systems (local and cloud)Strong experience with Virtual Environments (VMware V-Sphere, Hyper-V)Strong verbal and written communication skills requiredMust be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of business including weekends and holidays
