Business Analyst , you will become an essential part of our Technology group and will have the opportunity to learn and facilitate the success of our business.
This is a hybrid work environment opportunity located in Boston, Massachusetts with a weekly in office schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote work availability on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Product managers to establish yourself as a trusted advisorAs part of Geode's Data team, you will help gather data requirements from business product areas, perform data analysis, help with grooming product backlog and assist the product manager, and maintain product roadmapAct as a skilled liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders to extract, gather, analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements to bridge the gap between technical feasibility and business objectivesTranslate your insights and analysis into consumable, engineering-focused documentation to emphasize the 'why' and 'what,' ensuring that the captured information is oriented towards delivering maximum business valueUnderstand our tools and the best ways to customize them to support our risk-focused business process workflowsSkills You Bring:
5-10 years of experience in financial asset management and technology, ideally working with:
Data AnalyticsData OperationsData ManagementPerformanceTrade OperationsPortfolio Management
Strong understanding of Financial Data sets, Data Analysis and Data Management skillsDemonstrate the ability to rapidly assimilate modern technology and technical concepts.Proven experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including seasoned engineers, to deliver exceptional products and solutionsExhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills by conveying complex product details effortlessly to diverse audiences, fostering clarity and understandingFamiliarity with Jira, Git, Miro, ETL tools, and experience in SQL, data comparison and Data analysisDisplay a keen eye for detail, strategically applying it where necessary to ensure precision and accuracy in all endeavorsEmbrace a critical thinking mindset, unafraid to pose questions and explore uncertain answers, driving continuous improvement and innovationDemonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of independently identifying and resolving challenges. Exhibit curiosity, share solutions and insights collaboratively to benefit the teamNice to Haves:
Experience with Jira and ConfluenceWork directly with end users to understand workflows and needsInvolved in implementation of Data Analytics platforms using Snowflake
