Job Summary:

Compass Group, the world’s leading contract foodservice company is searching for an S/4 HANA Solution Architect; this position is located at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC (preferably on site). This position can be remote for the right candidate. This opportunity is for specialists with experience in S/4 HANA

Previous implementation experience in S/4 HANA is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

Work with Solution Management Layer consisting of Business representatives, System Architects, Program leaders, Product Managers

Assess companies on future roadmap against existing solution template to define Fit/Gap and solutions

Prepare position paper presentations with solution options for business requirements

Prepare and present Key Design Decision documents across business process areas

Produce high quality documentation, including procedural, operational, and solution design and process flow documents

Proactively locate and correct potential problems and/or implement improvements

Liaison with SAP for addressing whitespace requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

10+ years’ experience with S/4 HANA, SAP ECC -Multiple implementation experience is required. Experience with S/4 HANA will have higher weightage

Ability to research solutions for complex requirements in S/4 HANA by being able to configure and setup Proof of Concepts

Proven ability to lead multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Effective organization, planning, analytical skills and follow through

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication/documentation skills

Service oriented, collaborative approach to internal customer and peer relationships

Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines

Teammate and self-starter

Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SAP Activate or Others)

First and Fast mover and ability to work independently

Excellent understanding of SAP architecture across business process areas

Core SAP skills required:

Team Leadership/Management

Experience in leading one or many solution teams in one or more End to End SAP implementation programs

Strong Verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present to diverse audiences

S/4HANA Technology exposure

At least one S/4HANA Greenfield implementation experience (Brownfield can be considered)

S/4HANA Sales - Solution Design and Architecture

Sales with specific design and implementation experience in

Condition contracts

S/4HANA PS with solution design and implementation experience in:

Cost Element usage

Billing

Revenue Recognition

SAP Technical and Integration exposure

Experience in integrating systems to SAP (both inbound and outbound) with a general understanding of commonly used technical methods related to business scenarios

Understanding of various integration patters

Ability to have an informed conversation with technical architects

Implementation experience which involves integration of SAP S/4HANA with other non SAP systems

Understanding of Solution Design principles in this area

Solution Demonstration

Experience with running Conference Room Pilots

SAP Master Data

Detailed knowledge of structure of Master Data and Enterprise Setup

Design experience in various Business Processes with ability to think ground up on customization

Experience in the following business areas is desired:

Complex Billing Scenarios

Business Partner

Item Master

Point of Sales (IS-Retail)

Listing and Exclusion

Substitution

Contracts

Cross Platform Reporting

Strong SAP table structures in conjunction with business processes
