Pilot - Java Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Summit, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverablesReview and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsContribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate with client personnel in Software EngineeringDesign, implement, production support and monitoring to replace an existing case management application as well as help build the next generation investigations platform to support Financial Crimes Investigations and ReportingBuild complex UI via Angular UI FrameworkIntegrate the UI with backend servicesParticipates in standard Agile ceremonies to discuss design, development, and implementation of large and complex applicationPerform standard developer activities of code, write unit test, manually unit test, build and release code, run code scans, etc. as part of the standard SDLC cycle for the team in an Agile mannerMeet all non-functional requirements for UI development as well as meet enterprise guidelines and standards of best practices, accessibility, security, performance, resilience, high availability, code re-usability, etc.Participates in design, development, and implementation of large and complex applicationDevelop a loosely coupled architecture making use of the appropriate constructs which should include micro-services, workflows, and routesWork with Jenkins and CI tools to automate development, build, deployment, and testing
Requirements:
7+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education7+ years of Java experience4+ years of UI Development using JavaScript Frameworks (Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)4+ years of RESTful web services built on Spring Boot and related technologies4+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata4+ years of experience in application and data architecture and solution designUnderstanding of version control (GIT), CICD, uDeploy, Jenkins and able to generate documentationComfortable in an Agile environmentExperience in design, development of enterprise systems, handling high volumes of data in case management and reporting
Desired Skills:
