A Product Owner oversees the development of products from start to finish to ensure they meet the clients' needs and preferences. Their main duties include determining the overall vision of products, managing various backlog items and deciding which features each product will have according to clients' preferences. They'll research and determine the clients' needs to determine which features to include on products and will pitch ideas for product features to stakeholders. Product Owners will then continue to act as the primary contact between the scrum teams, product development departments and stakeholders.Essential Duties:

Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products.Leads process modeling, requirements, design, and testing to deliver software solutions.Partners with Product Manager to provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and creates requirements, including creating user storiesSupervise and advise the scrum team to meet software expectationsRepresents the customer and works closely with the scrum team throughout the development process, participating in Scrum meetings and product sprintsWorks with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, roadmaps, and prioritization.Provides an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint GoalsEnsures that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work onManages the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirementsNurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problemsCommunicate effectively with team members to achieve project goalsExtract and retrieve data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the ultimate customer.Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes for projectsMonitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the processLiaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updatesKeep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trendsActs as a leader within the organizationMay be involved in production support during and after hoursOther duties as assignedQualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of equivalent experience2+ years' experience in product development for particular verticalIntermediate SQL and data analysis skillsIntermediate knowledge of data modelling/visualization and use interface designIntermediate reporting skillsStrong knowledge of Agile principles and processSharp analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent consensus building skillsAbility to work under pressure and tight deadlinesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detailMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.
