Systems Integration Engineer (Weekend Shift)

to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of Assembly Integration and Test the Systems Integration Engineer will work within a multidisciplinary team to build, integrate, and test space vehicles at both the sub-system and system levels.This role will be working our

weekend shift from Thursday – Monday.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign vehicle assembly architecture and proceduresDesign and develop tools and hardware to enable vehicle assembly and ensure vehicle testing abilitiesDevelop full testing campaigns ensuring vehicle integrity of electronic and mechanical systemsVehicle integration build flow and test concept of operationsEvaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration into sub-systemsInterface with engineers and technicians to advance to larger-scale manufacturing and automationDevelop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned to mature statusResponsible for enabling day-to-day execution of the vehicle integration and test flowManage work orders and drive nonconformance's into actionable items and system improvementsResolve Electrical and Mechanical issue debugging at the satellite system and sub-system levelThe position will require being hands-on and will require standing for extended periodsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline3+ years of experience as a test or manufacturing engineer supporting highly integrated cross-disciplinary assembly operations, with hands-on technical experienceAdditional DifferentiatorsMaster's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplineExperience with build integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and structural systems, including, but not limited to, vibration, shock, thermal, vacuum, and radiation testingExperience with electrical debugging of PCB Assemblies, including the ability to read electrical schematicsDocumentation and configuration management experienceExperience writing test plans and procedures and providing go/no-go judgmentExperience in a production environment within the aerospace industryExperience working in a laboratory setting, particularly a cleanroom with ESD precautionsThe ability to read and write basic code in any primary programming languageExperience using Linux-based operating systemsBenefits100% Company-paid comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents401(k) MatchUnlimited PTOSalary Range

$90,000-$120,000Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
