One of our Fortune 500 clients (A major State Government client) is looking for Hardworking & motivated talents to join their awesome team. The Client is seeking a Desktop Support IV professional with 10+ years of experience in desktop support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft Active Directory. Excellent customer service and communication skills, along with experience in both Windows 10/11 and macOS, are essential.

Title: Desktop Support

Location: Madison WI 53792

Duration: 9+ months (with highly possible extension)

Pay Range: $31 – 34 /hr.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide first and second-level technical support for both routine and complex issues related to hardware, software, and networking.

Troubleshoot and resolve or escalate more advanced technical issues for various products and services.

Perform installations, configurations, repairs, automations, and modifications of complex technology hardware and software.

Handle tasks independently, following established guidelines.

Respond to inquiries and provide technical information through various communication channels, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Provide professional and courteous service to all users.

Document technical issues, responses, and solutions.

Recommend procedural improvements to leadership to enhance user support operations.

Work as part of a team while also being capable of independent problem-solving.

May lead and direct the work of others when necessary.

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in desktop support, covering various software, operating systems, and hardware.

Strong knowledge of computer software, operating systems (Windows 10/11 and macOS), hardware, and networking.

Experience with

Microsoft Active Directory

for managing user accounts and system settings.

Proficiency in troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.

Able to work both as part of a team and independently.

Proven experience in providing professional, courteous, and responsive customer service in a technical support role.

Preferred Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3+ years of relevant experience with

Windows 10/11

.

2+ years of relevant experience with

macOS

.

Experience and knowledge of

computer security

best practices.
