The Architect II role is designed to be a member of the team responsible with developing and managing Application Portfolio Management (APM), Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance, and Business Architecture (BA) domains. The individual in this role will by utilizing their business and technical domain acumen ensuring the alignment of Business' strategic goals and IT strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the Application Portfolio Management (APM) process to guide stakeholders on the optimization of software application usage, development, and investment.

Shape and participation in RFx activities to identify and select the most suitable technology solutionsWork with Stakeholders to maximize value of investment for technology and applications

Assist with the EA Governance processes, engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational standards, policies, and strategic direction of the business.

Promote architectural best practices, standards, and guidelines across the organizationEnsure that architectural principles are applied during the development and implementation of enterprise solutionsSupport Solution Architecture teammates in the creation of architectural governance artifacts

Manage Business Architecture activities which include:

Work closely with business and technology constituents to develop and implement capability-based planning and assessmentsFoster collaboration across business and technology domains to help drive cohesive and holistic IT strategies across Client

Assist with Technology Research & Analysis:Conduct research into new and innovative technology trends that align with business needs and present findings that summarize research analysis.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience

The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 6 years' experience in a related field or MS and 2 years of experience

Technical Aptitude: Basic computer skills, knowledge of desktop PC systems, mobile devices, and foundational understanding of Microsoft Office 365 software productsEffective Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently while relying on judgment in addition to support interactions with various stakeholders and articulate technical concepts as needed

Capacity to support leadership and provide mentorship within the team
