Position Title:
Application Engineer IIISummaryThis position is responsible for serving our top customers by providing product solutions, field support, and leading projects maintaining our on time delivery >90% for Regal Rexnord's Chains and Conveying Equipment product line.Key OutcomesInnovation:
Identify and provide a minimum of one innovation solution per quarter to meet customer needsGrowth:
Visit at least one customer per quarter to identify growth opportunities and product solutions that solve customer problems.Continuous Improvement:
Learn the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) tools within the first year and actively participate in product simplification and complexity reduction initiativesManufacturing Support:
Review and approve plant and supplier deviation requests with 100% on-time completion.Project Resource Management:

Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a projectMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering/technology or other related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience working in application engineering for products in heavy equipment industriesExperience leading the engineering function within global cross-functional project teamsKnowledge and experience in selection of materials, heat treatment, manufacturing processes, drawing practices.Working experience in standards like ANSI, DIN, ISO, API, ASTM, including many other industrial standards used by Regal Rexnord and the Regal Rexnord customer base.Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting at customer sites.Experience in supporting plants and suppliers for qualifying or approving alternative processes or materials.Computer proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce.com or other CRM, SAP/Oracle or other ERP.Flexibility with work hours to maintain a minimal backlog.Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travelPreferred RequirementsMaster's degree in an Engineering field preferredExperience in responding to technical enquiries, engineering changes, returned material analysis, product testing, benchmarking, and engineered to order designs.Experience working in engineering with chains or related power transmission equipment highly desiredOrganizational FitAt Regal Rexnord, our associates live our values.
