We are currently looking for a Information Technology Manager with experience within Financial Services / Investment Banking to come on board and work with our Tier 1 Investment Banking clients.

Responsibilities

While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:Developing and enforcing information governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data integrity, confidentiality, security, and availabilityEstablish guidelines for data classification, retention, and disposal to meet regulatory and business requirementsOversee the design and implementation of robust data management practicesWork closely with the security team to implement and monitor data security measuresIdentify and mitigate information risks related to data handling and storageStay abreast of relevant laws and regulations governing informationWork with stakeholders (IT, Compliance etc.) to ensure the organization's compliance with data protection and privacy laws, through monitoring of regulatory requirements, implementation of best practices, technology solutionsCollaborate with business units to understand their information needs and challengesFacilitate cross-functional communication to promote a unified approach to information managementEvaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance data management capabilitiesQualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in information management, Computer ScienceExperience developing training programs to promote awareness of Information management practicesExperience educating staff on the importance of information governance and their role in maintaining information quality, privacy, and securityExperience generating and analyzing reports to measure effectiveness of information management initiativesExperience producing materials for presentations (to C-suite, stakeholders, peers)Proven experience in information management, data governance, security, and privacyStrong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirementsExperience with data analytics and business intelligence toolsKnowledge of emerging trends and technologies in information managementExcellent communication skills across all levels of seniorityStrong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Primary Location Salary Range: $500-1000 /day depending on experience
