You will join an interdisciplinary team of scientists and technologists driven to removing barriers to data sharing and enabling knowledge discovery through advanced analytics. You will have the opportunity to apply your technical excellence in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment while helping the world better understand and control major infectious diseases with pandemic potential such as influenza and coronaviruses.This is a remote eligible position.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with software engineers, UX designers, and project managers to implement versatile websites using current front-end technologies and best practicesDevelop user interfaces for business requirements that are secure, flexible, and scalableImplement changes based on stakeholders' feedbackCollaborate with other team members and stakeholdersRequirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or relevant experience1-2+ years of experience working with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and related front-end technologies in a professional environmentProficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and version control systems like GitExperience working with any front-end framework such as React, Vue or AngularExperience with TypeScript and Node.jsUnderstanding of REST APIsUnderstanding of responsive design and experience working with component libraries such as Bootstrap, MUI etc.Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholdersPreferredUnderstanding of UI design principlesKnowledge of core AWS servicesUnderstanding of SEO concepts and experience with Google AnalyticsExperience working in Agile software development environmentFamiliarity with structured data and headless CMS platforms like Strapi
