Introduction

As a

Remote DevOps Engineer , you will collaborate with our clients to design, implement, maintain, and test various technical solutions using the latest technologies. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines and various automation processes, including build management, automated deployments, automated testing, and configuration management.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing our Azure Kubernetes Service and managing deployments for applications via containersAssisting with troubleshooting networking issues related to our load balancer and application gatewaysManage pipelines for application and IaC deployments into our various environmentsGather technical requirements and execute deliverablesScale infrastructure and applications in an automated wayConfigure monitoring for applications and infrastructure using Elastic Stack, Application Insights, and Azure MonitorDocument DevOps processes, procedures, and environments to ensure continuityLocation and Travel Details

This opportunity is remote and will require occasional on-site support during project deployments.

Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

Must be able to obtain and/or maintain Secret Clearance. If you do not have a Secret Clearance, any offer is contingent on receiving an Interim Secret clearance within the average government timeline. Current federal averages are approximately 17 days.

Required For This Opportunity

U.S. Citizenship requiredMinimum of three years of IT/DevOps engineering experienceCandidate must have a CompTIA Security+As a condition of employment, the candidate must acquire an AZ-104 or AZ-305 Certificate within 60 days of being hired or will be at-risk for termination.Strong proficiency in Bash, Powershell, Python, or similar languagesExperience automating infrastructure and application deployments using pipelines (Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Github, etc.)Experience with deploying Linux based containerized applications to KubernetesExperience with container hardening processes and scanning tools for images or code (Checkmarx, Sonarqube, Trivy, Aquasec, etc.)Proficiency in infrastructure management and associated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.)Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP)Experience with configuring monitoring tools (e.g., Application Insights, Elastic, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)**Failure to meet any of the listed requirements within 60 days of hire may result in removal from the program and termination from AIS.**

Nice to Have Skills (Preference will be placed on candidates also meeting these requirements)

Experience working with the DoDAZ-104 or 305 certificationsExperience in Windows or Linux Server Administration (with RedHat, CentOS, or similar)Understanding of application gateways, load balancers, and virtual network management
