Azure synapse Production pipelines. Shadowing other pipelines in Teradata Moving all IICS and Cognos and Teradata to AzureDATA MODELING EXPERIENCE.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of related professional experienceDegree in technology related area preferredPreferred Skills:Proven experience on projects involving data integration, data warehousing, data cleansing, data mapping, and data conversion activitiesWell versed in data management concepts, data lifecycle and methodologiesJob Responsibilities:Responsible for understanding source systems, data flows and their data modelsResponsible for analyzing data to validate business domains and requirementsClose collaboration with Data Architect to design new data models and new viewsDevelop source to target mappings for data lineage (STTM)Responsible for data profiling and ensuring data quality requirements are accurate and completeValidates that data integration, data movement, and warehouse meets requirements and service-level agreementsWorks with architects to translate requirements into technical specificationsAct as the conduit between the business subject matter experts and technical teams to ensure requirements are understoodAct in an advisory capacity in data model reviews, architecture approach and solution design to ensure solution meets business requirementsEngages in test strategy and test plan development and the execution of use cases to validate data (e.g., create test data, identify existing data to use for testing, writing test scripts to validate data loads, conversions, views, opening defects, etc.)Responsible for communicating planned and unplanned activities to appropriate parties as needed
