Our work depends on a Functional Analyst Advisor joining our team to support on going analytics and identifying issues related to a variety of non-technical and technical project deliverables; as it relates to customer inquiries from researchers, medical professionals and scientists across the Military Health System (MHS) for the Electronic Institutional Review Board (EIRB) program.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Conducts research and analytical studies on a variety of issues
Coordinates and expedites reports
Develops procedures and formulates recommendations and prepares reports
Conduct evaluations to determine functional requirements, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively
Responding to customer inquiries and emails
Assist with User Account requests and problem diagnosis of applications
Perform testing of new releases of the applications
Functioning as primary Point of Contact to issues associated with the applications
Updating documentation about the steps to resolve an issue
Resolving trouble tickets as appropriate
Assisting in root cause analysis and after action incident reports
Run and analyze ticket reports
Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement
Conducts functional testing of various projects or systems
Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion
Develops new functionality or updates the existing, to meet client needs
Generates and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including procedures, presentations, and training materials
Performs functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Ability to generate and modify SOPs; ServiceNow Ticketing System, Server Support, System Monitoring, Oracle Database and SQL experience
Security Clearance Level: Must be clearable for a NACI(T1) public trust
Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively and clearly; Able to work in a virtual team setting; Able to take ownership of a task and complete it on time
Preferred Skills: Security + certification; CompTIA Certification, Microsoft Certifications
Location: 100% Remote; Customer is in Falls Church, VA; Schedule - M-F 9am - 5 pm EST

The likely salary range for this position is $83,096 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
