Captivation Software is looking for a entry level software engineer who shall be responsible for software development activities for a service that automates Purge corporate data compliance requirements for an HPC organization.
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityFour (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLIExperience with creating/modifying Bash scripts to automate processesExperience developing with Python in a Linux environmentExperience developing with Python libraries, such as Pandas and NumPyExperience developing RESTful APIsKnowledge of multiprocessing techniquesExperience with CI/CD concepts, principles, and best practices using tools such as GitLab CIExperience with containerization technologies such as DockerDesired Skills:Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Experience with Git Version Control SystemFamiliarity with Rust and Java programming languagesFamiliarity with column-oriented data storage formats such as ParquetFamiliarity with container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesThis position is open for direct hires only. Benefits
