Job Description
A Financial Services company is looking for a Sr. Technical Business Analyst with data modeling experience to join their team in New York City. This person should have a strong background in technical business analysis, meaning they should be well versed in the SDLC, requirements gathering, liaising and translating requirements between business and tech teams, and have experience working under different methodologies: agile, waterfall, lean. The information/data gathered is to be used to create the models for the business. This person will be working with key stakeholders, should be comfortable working with various levels of the business, and should have exceptional documentation and organizational skills. This person will be working on the data modeling responsibilities 25-50% of the time. This position is hybrid onsite, 2-3 days in Manhattan.

Skills and Requirements
At least 7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
Financial Services industry experience: cash management and settlement functions, and client onboarding
Experience creating logical data models for complex business applications
Immaculate documentation skills, experience using Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Strong understanding of the SDLC and various methodologies: agile, waterfall, lean
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, team player while also being a strong independent contributor
Whatever it takes, go-getter mentality Software engineer/developer moved into BA role null
