What you'll do:Support partnership development between Tempus and the Life Sciences industry by identifying patient cohorts for Tempus' oncology data licensing businessPartner with Tempus' Pharma Business Development and Life Sciences Strategy & Operations teams to generate fit-for-purpose cohorts supporting pharma researchSupport monitoring of the volume and profiles of inbound requests, generate analytics in order to gain insights on customer needs, and propagate feedback throughout the organizationMaintain code, technical processes, and documentationSupport integration of new data sources into feasibility/team operationsMentor and train team membersQualifications:
3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in an analytical or consulting role within or in support of the Life Sciences or Healthcare industryStrong command of SQL and other scripting languages (R or Python)Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent spreadsheet softwareExperience in oncology, cancer genomics, molecular biology and/or clinical trials, as demonstrated by focus area in school/university, a side project, or previous work experienceExperience building client-ready deliverables and other outputsComfortable working in a client-facing, fast-paced environmentExperience working with disorganized data from various sources and translating raw data into practical insights and recommendationsExperience with data manipulation, cleaning, and visualizationExcellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse audiencesAbility to prioritize work independently, take ownership of deliverables, navigate ambiguity, shift priorities seamlessly, and juggle multiple projects simultaneouslyGoal orientated, self motivated, and driven to make a positive impact in healthcareCuriosity and willingness to learn skills to elevate the use of automation in commercial operationsThrive in a fast-paced environment and willing to shift priorities seamlessly
