We are looking for a Senior Cloud Automation Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. The Cloud Engineering team designs and builds public cloud solutions globally at Equifax. We automate project creation, IAM, networking and everything in between in the Google Cloud Platform. This is a high visibility role on a high visibility team that is revolutionizing how Equifax delivers systems and software. The work we do is making Equifax a better place to work! We're a tight-knit group of like-minded individuals with a wide variety of technical backgrounds and experience ranging from software engineering to enterprise architecture. We believe everything should be automated and everything can be done with code.
Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.
This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in Alpharetta, GA.

Develop and implement short and long-term roadmaps for their respective domainsImplement complex infrastructure products through engineering and automation that enables configuration and service managementProvides guidance to technical staff within their domainConsult and advise on systems engineering and designStreamline deployment of infrastructure into consumable servicesDesign new, automate where appropriateFull alignment with the Engineering Handbook guidelines and practicesWhat experience you need
BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required; Master's Degree preferred; AI/ML coursework preferred7+ years of related work experienceCertification in cloud or automation preferredExperience in one or more cloud environments (GCP preferred)Experience using one or more automation languages (Python, Bash, Groovy)Terraform or CloudFormation for automatingSolid understanding of networkingExperience with one or more other technologies (database, Big Data, AI, etc.)What could set you apart
Strong communication skillsAbsolutely must be a team playerBoundless passion for technology and a willingness to learn and teachExperience working on a Scrum team
