OverviewThe Program Manager is responsible for delivering on the Company's long-term managed charging goals to drive off-peak charging behavior among EV owners and operators of chargers in support of New York State regulatory expectations. The Program Manager works with their team to design and deliver excellence for an industry-leading program looking to scale up its operational scope and capabilities. This includes dayto-day operational oversight, developing and maintaining program rules, budget development and forecasting, and regulatory reporting. This role also involves developing and maintaining relationships with many stakeholders, both internal and external to Con Edison and the E-Mobility & Demonstrations department.

ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities

The Program Manager (Managed Charging) is responsible for overall implementation and performance of the program to achieve company and regulatory targets. The Program Manager will direct the program's processes, functions, internal program team, and contractor responsible for the implementation of the program. The Program Manager is responsible for managing/supporting the Company's managed charging program and overseeing the design, operations, administration, budget, marketing, performance analysis, reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement.Lead the development of a proactive, customer-centric culture to foster trust and confidence among program participants.Oversee all aspects of the managed charging program including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing resources needed to achieve goals.Lead collaboration with the Electric Vehicle team, as well as other internal departments including engineering and energy services.Coordinate closely with the EV business development team to ensure exceptional customer service and optimal program performance.Oversee administrative aspects of these programs including program design, customer enrollments, budget, and timely and accurate incentive payments and reporting.Monitor, analyze and report on program performanceManage employees and/or contractors and facilitate ongoing development and training of these resources.Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize benefits to the Company.Oversee the growth of the program through such activities as the development of innovative program design solutions.Support the development of and manage software used to administer and operate the programs and oversee data management and quality control.Liaise with Department of Public Service staff and represent the Company on various New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and other committees/interest groups pertaining to electric vehicle programs.Successful candidates must be able to meet programmatic targets, manage up and down to internal stakeholders, and communicate persuasively in support of their vision for the program's future. Negotiation and communication skills are critical to being able to deliver on this role's key priorities.Represent the Company at industry conferences and meetings with external stakeholders related to the development of managed charging programs.Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.Ensure that safe work practices are followed, and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.QualificationsRequired Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' work experience 2 years of experience leading or supporting electrification projects or programs orMaster's Degree and 3 years' work experience Program development and managementPreferred Education/Experience

Master's Degree and 5 years program management experienceRelevant Work Experience

Demonstrated experience analyzing information, both technical and financial, and making recommendations based on that information.
