IT Program Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery -e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies with across multiple teamsFacilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverablesPromote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timelineManage project financialsGather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and scheduleEnsure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholdersEnsure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standardsSupport resource planning for delivery/execution
Requirements:
7+ years of relevant experience with a strong mix of technology delivery & business understandingGood working experience in Agile environment and understanding of agile development methodologydaptable/flexible to respond to changing business demandsTrack record of taking ownership and driving projects to completionExtremely strong verbal and written communication skillsInteract productively with team members across multiple locations and time zonesPresent project health and status conditions clearly and conciselyEngage with senior management / executive level management as neededbility to learn new tools and skills required to perform the role as well as to understand the business and existing systemsExtremely organized and ability to manage multiple workstreamsIntermediate/Expert MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint), Jira, and SharePointSelf-starter, self-motivated and delivery focusedVery good attention to detail and good problem-solving skillsGood time management skills
Desired Skills:
PMP Certification Financial experience Knowledge of JIRA and Agile (SCRUM and SAFe)Enterprise Change Management experience critical
