Job Description
A partner of Insight Global is looking for a COBOL Programmer Analyst to join their team. The main responsibility of this role is to serve as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders, gathering, analyzing, communicating, and validating requirements for changes to information systems, business processes, and policies. Additionally, this position functions as a senior programmer analyst, providing operational support for Treasurys Mainframe applications developed in COBOL and XGEN. This role will also ensure all system documentation adheres to the companies standards and is maintained according to all relevant policies.
Compensation: $45hr-$55hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Business Analyst Experience (requirement gathering, writing test cases) 5+ years of experience with requirements gathering
This role will be 70/30 Business Analyst / Programming so need to be okay doing BA requirements with programming background
4+ years of Programming experience (with COBOL or XGEN)
Experience with writing test cases
Strong oral and written communication null
