Our challenge

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pega Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Pega-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Pega platform capabilities and be able to deliver high-quality solutions to meet business needs.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Sunrise, FL is $100k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into Pega application designs.

Design and develop Pega applications using PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC) and Pega 7/8 platforms.

Implement Pega workflows, case management, decisioning, and user interfaces based on best practices and design patterns.

Configure Pega application rules, data models, integrations, and user interfaces to meet business process requirements.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting of Pega applications to ensure quality and performance.

Contribute to Pega application architecture, performance optimization, and scalability.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

You are:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) certification is highly preferred.

Proven experience in Pega development, including PRPC rules, flows, activities, integrations, and UI components.

Proficiency in Pega application design and development using Pega 7/8 platform features and tools.

Strong understanding of Pega application security, performance optimization, and best practices.

Experience with Pega Guardrails and adherence to Pega development guardrails and coding standards.

Knowledge of Pega decisioning, case management, and business process management (BPM) concepts.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

It would be great if you also had:

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and development practices.

Familiarity with Pega Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and Pega Customer Service applications.

Knowledge of Pega Predictive and Adaptive Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.

Understanding of Pega integration capabilities with third-party systems and APIs.
