As a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Product Owner for a Randstad client in Washington, DC, you will play a pivotal role in delivering products and services by adhering to SAFe values, principles, and success patterns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Architecture, to define, prioritize, and validate solutions under development. Your expertise will ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs, driving product success.Responsibilities:
Product Ownership:
Serve as the primary contact for the product, defining, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog.Vision and Strategy:
Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.Prioritization:
Prioritize features and user stories based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility, focusing on high-priority items.Requirements Gathering:
Elicit and document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, customers, and development teams, to align with the product vision.Agile Framework:
Implement and champion the principles of the SAFe framework, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies.Roadmap Development:
Contribute to the product roadmap, outlining delivery schedules and milestones.Release Planning:
Participate in release planning, prioritizing features, sprint planning, and coordinating cross-team dependencies.Metrics and Analysis:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify improvement areas.Product Delivery:
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.Minimum Qualifications:
Typically, a minimum of 8+ years as an agile product owner, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; an advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience is preferred.Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment.Demonstrated understanding of agile methodologies and the SAFe framework.Ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience with tools such as Jira Software, Confluence, LucidCharts, Jira Align, and AgilityHealth.Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager Certification.Preferred experience in e-commerce and marketing within transportation and hospitality, supporting various channels like websites, mobile applications, ticket counters, call centers, kiosks, and B2B partnerships.
