Software Engineers
whose primary duties will include assisting customers by implementing and adapting the latest communications and signal processing.
SEEKING LOCAL CANDIDATES IN PITTSBURGH, PAAdditional Duties:Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.Design software systems that interface with humans, machines, and other software.Work as part of a technical team throughout the project life cycle to establish and adapt projects plans and milestones.Routine reporting on project progress and issues to internal stakeholders.Fulfill ongoing and sustaining engineering support where needed.Documenting development processes, procedures, and application version histories.Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures.Candidate Requirements:Must be a US Citizen.Position may require candidate to meet eligibility requirements for security clearance.Must have ability to occasionally travel domestically or internationally.Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skillsStrong computer science fundamentals (logic & discrete mathematics, algorithms, data structures)Experienced with device control interfaces, such as I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet.Familiar with Data Communication Network and associated Layer 2 and 3 protocols.Fluent in C and C++Familiar with communications protocols (TCP/IP, CANbus, SNMP, HTTPS) & web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS)Knowledge of Python and JavaScript, Shell scripting (Bash) and Unix command line, Linux tools and servicesKnowledge of Distributed systems and service-oriented design, Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), Version control systems (e.g., git, svn), and Virtualization technology (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox, KVM)
