We serve federal agencies as a trusted digital strategy and technology consulting firm, providing innovative technical leadership to support our customers’ critical missions.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities • Design, develop, and sustain products with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.• Create maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, CI/CD automation, secure development, TDD, static code analysis, peer/code reviews).• Build testing protocols to optimize performance, which will have a direct impact on the user experience of our products.• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in applications and drive code hygiene and system architecture.• Increase teams’ technical ability and drive measurable code quality improvements.• Improve the accuracy of development schedules and lower delivery risks.• Mentor Junior Individual Contributors.
QualificationsRequirements • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certification DevOps Engineer Professional.• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification, or Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) Certification.• 8+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise applications.• 6+ years of hands-on Java experience, including analysis, design and testing.• 6+ years of experience using Spring framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations.• 6+ years of relational database experience with a solid understanding of SQL and modeling concepts.• 5+ years of DevSecOps and CI/CD automation experience using GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube.• Experience in performance tuning and code optimization.• Experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices.• Experience modernizing applications to microservices architecture.• Good understanding of Oracle database concepts.• Knowledge of Angular/React is an added bonus.
