We are hiring a
Sr. Software Tool Engineer
to work in Laurel, MD. Position location is subject to change based on central MD client's needs.
Required:
TS/SCI with a Polygraph
Design and implement secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues.Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiencyProvide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6Stay up to date with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practicesIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:
Fourteen (14) years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator or configuration management engineer. Eight (8) years experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator , or configuration management experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.TS/SCI Polygraph required.DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1Ability to obtain PRIVAC and SYS3Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)Know login management.Familiar with outages, latency issues, & trouble shootingProven experience designing and implementing DDI solutionsExperience with load balancing technologiesStrong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with scripting and automation tools a plusIndividual Capabilities/Experience Desired:
DNS experience with an understanding of maintenance of InfobloxExperience with Infoblox trouble ticketsIn-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)We have all the PERKS!
