Responsibilities
General Purpose
:
URMC is seeking a part-time social worker (2 hours per week to start) to assist with a national research study of community-centered palliative care for persons with Parkinson’s disease and their family careers.
Responsibilities
:
Providing social work care and resources to participants in the study using a palliative care framework
Documenting research visits in our study electronic medical record
Maintaining regulatory certification with our IRB
Participating in monthly interdisciplinary team calls about participants
Contributing to manuscripts and other products of this research study
Participating in annual research retreat and other team activities
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in social work Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred:
Clinical or Community Social Work experience in health setting preferred
Word processing and use of electronic medical records

Pay Range
Pay Range: $24.22 - $33.91 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
