Job Description:

ECS is seeking a TS-cleared DevOps Engineer to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice. We offer the chance to support the world's finest law enforcement organization and help the people that keep us safe. In this job you will support agents, analysts, and professionals and the technology they use to fight terrorism, espionage, cyber-attacks, and major criminal threats.

We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide courteous and accurate technical information. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their mission related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain a DevOps environment to support the automation and deployment of mission-critical applications and systemsImplement and automate infrastructure, application development, and deployment processes/proceduresImplement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated delivery of applicationsAutomate and enhance workflows around the build, test, and deployment of applicationsManage and maintain an efficient, secure, and reliable infrastructure environmentPerform other DevOps tasks as needed to support mission needsOperational support (Linux)Support ATO effortsSalary Range: $145,000 - $175,000

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical fieldActive Top Secret with SCI eligibility5 years of application development, cloud solutioning, or IT experience3 years DevOps experience2 years hands-on Linux experienceApplication development/coding experience (Java, Python)Demonstrated experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, TerraformSignificant knowledge and experience with cloud services (AWS preferred)Demonstrated experience with CI/CD environments and toolsets (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)Experience with Containerization (Docker) and Containerization Orchestration (Kubernetes)Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of full lifecycle engineering projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex Cloud infrastructure issuesDesired Skills:

AWS CertificationAbility to communicate with customers to refine requirements
