Our client is a leading international engineering company that specializes in hydraulics, systems, and fluid engineering. They are seeking an Applications Engineer for System Electronics located in Glendale Heights, IL.
- This position will be responsible for being a liaison between sales, customer, product divisions, and manufacturing operations- Collaborate with the sales teams on account strategies by providing technical support and consulting to deliver System solutions and generate designs- Combination of business development and application engineering- Will be targeting specific customers for growth in electronic controls and sensors- Will be assigned to specific customers and/or applications- Train and educate the sales team on new product releases and solutions- Assist customer in developing product improvements- Actively participate in design reviews with other engineering, manufacturing, sales, and materials personnel to ensure that design meet all requirements
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Must have an associate degree in engineering required; BSEE or Computer Science preferred- Experience in selling and/or applying electronic products in industrial or mobile markets- Great understanding of electronic controls and system architecture, especially in mobile applications- Ability to travel approximately 30-50% of the time- Knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, standards, and procedures- Computer/Electronic Controls Programming experience desired
