Job Summary:This position is responsible for taking over an extensive simulation platform that simulates the behavior of a display over its lifetime. The model is developed in C/C++ and MATLAB and is used to evaluate the performance of various image enhancement and compression algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of an extensive simulation platform that models the behaviour of a display over its lifetime, developed in C/C++ and MATLAB.Understand and implement algorithms used in displays to compensate for impairments and enhance image quality.Work with different compression algorithms used in the display industry.Maintain and enhance the simulation platform, perform simulations, and optimize code to reduce execution time.Collaborate with compression and RTL teams to improve algorithm quality and validate through simulation.Analyze and interpret simulation results, reporting findings to the team.Qualifications:
10+ years of hands-on experience in image processing algorithm development.10+ years of hands-on experience with C++ and MATLAB.Experience with compression algorithms is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (MS is preferred).Inclusiveness and adaptability to diverse global norms.Avid learner with curiosity, resilience, and data-driven understanding.Collaborative team player who builds relationships and supports others.Innovative and creative, with a proactive approach to exploring new ideas and adapting to change.
