Summary

The Analyst, Transportation Support position is responsible for monitoring and coordinating all port shipments to ensure timely and damage free delivery. They will work with our vendors on a daily basis to ensure data transmissions are received in ITMS promptly and correctly. Analyst will also regularly communicate to our customers any reports and information when requested. Will also be tasked with helping clear audit holds and contract management within ITMS to ensure timely payments to our truck and rail vendors.

Compensation

$47,425- $56,910/Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

Port Shipment Monitoring•Monitor the daily dwell time of vehicles at ports and VPCs, with a strong emphasis on ensuring vehicles are shipped out within two business days of release to carriers.•Request shipment reports and ETAs from vendors to report to our customers.•Communicate with vendors on any potential dealer and customer requested holds. Analyst will be the liaison between the customers, dealers, and vendors. They will make certain all parties involved are well-informed and up to date with any new information.•Manage alternative routing contracts by adding rates to ITMS and providing rates to carriers when requested.•Provide Monthly and Quarterly Shipment Forecasts with Truck Vendors to ensure our carriers are properly assigning the correct amount of drivers and resources to a given territory.•Create Port shipment/RNS reports and keep track of weekly events/concerns that may impact RNS.•Monitor carrier shipment vs tender performance as needed.

Carrier Insurance Monitoring•Request updated insurance certificates within one (1) day after the expiration date.•Track, monitor and validate carrier's insurance certificates and report the same to EBIX, GLOVIS' broker.•Guide and explain GLOVIS' requirements and coverage to vendors.

Complete and Publish internal and external Reports•Complete & publish Expense/Revenue Performance Report - monthly•Complete & publish HMA Alternative Shipments - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays•Submit ALEC data - each Quarter•Ad hoc reports as requested•Maintain vendor contact lists•Develop and maintain network maps and other visual aids•Occasionally updating Rate Schedules for carriers•Support operations team in providing rates and miles of new dealers and communicate with the carriers ensuring their confirmation•Club Elite Support•Other duties as assigned
